Welcome to Seedlings Preschool

Seedlings preschool is situated in the lovely village of Langford Budville next to St Peter's Church. As a happy, kind, and caring school, we are proud to be at the heart of our supportive community with great links to the local church, unwavering in our commitment to place children at the centre of all we do. A new rural setting offering inclusive childcare and education for all children aged 2 - 4 years.

At Seedlings preschool, we recognise individuals' strengths and seek to nurture children who are curious and resilient in their development and learning, managing new situations with confidence.

Children at Seedlings have the opportunity to take part on a variety of activities, all of which are based around the children's interests. We allow the children's ideas, passions and fascinations to lead us through the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Our aim is for our children to become confident, happy individuals who can independently move forward in their learning in all areas of life. We offer a warm, friendly, and safe pre-school environment to nurture each child through their early years. We provide a stimulating and loving environment for them to learn and grow. All children at Seedlings participate in Fundamentals and Forest School at least weekly. We have a wonderful, safe, and inspiring outdoor area allowing free-flow access to the outside learning environment.

Seedlings is part of Langford Budville CoE Primary School. This means that the curriculum is planned with Reception teachers, allowing all staff to make secure, progressive links building on prior learning from the very earliest stages.  Children at Seedlings take part in a wide range of school activities, ensuring a smooth and seamless transition when the time comes for them to move into Reception.
