Role of the Team

The PFSA team is dedicated to offering assistance in various critical areas. This includes emotional health support to individuals and families dealing with issues such as eating disorders, self-harm, loss and bereavement, anger, parental separation, divorce, and any other concerns impacting a young person's emotional health.

Building a Bridge Between Home and School

The team aims to foster a robust partnership between home and school, working in conjunction with parents and guardians to help each child reach their full potential. Understanding that various family dynamics can influence a child's learning experience, our team is equipped to navigate through these complexities in the best interest of the child.

Guiding You to the Right Resources

In cases where additional professional assistance may be necessary, our team can direct you to the appropriate services. We have established connections with various professional bodies that can offer further help.

A Listening Ear

Sometimes, all you need is someone to listen. Our team is always available to listen to you or your child if you are experiencing difficulties. Whether it's related to bullying, online safety, school refusal, behavioural issues, healthy eating, budgeting, or even feeling isolated, we are here for you.

Support for Parents and Carers

The team also provides support for parents and carers who wish to return to work or further their education. We understand that this transition can be challenging and offer guidance and resources to ensure a smooth process.
