In the morning, our Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 students dove into the colorful world of Pablo Picasso. They engaged in a fun-filled workshop, creating their own collage portraits in Picasso's unique style. It was amazing to see their fine motor skills at work, cutting and shaping with such precision and creativity!

The afternoon was a whirlwind of inspiration for our Year 3 and 4 students as they explored the art of Henry Moore, the renowned World War 2 artist and sculptor. They crafted their own tin foil armature and clay sculptures, taking cues from Moore's dynamic forms.

The children also had the chance to wander through the art gallery and marvel at the intricate tapestries of Grayson Perry.  It was a day filled with artistic exploration and discovery, sparking imaginations and inspiring young minds.

What a great way to bring classroom learning to life!
