Welcome to Langford Budville Church of England Primary School, where we foster a warm and supportive community rooted in Christian values. We believe in creating a caring and happy environment where every child feels valued and nurtured.
With our small class sizes, we provide individual attention and personalised learning experiences. Our dedicated teachers and learning support assistants ensure that every student receives the support they need to thrive academically and personally. Despite our small size, we offer big school opportunities, ensuring wider experiences such as, competing in large-scale sporting events with other schools and participating in trips and residentials within the Moorland Federation. These experiences help build friendship links and enable our students to learn in larger cohorts, seizing every opportunity to grow and excel.
Our newly opened early years setting is a vibrant space where young children, from 2 years old, can grow emotionally and develop their abilities through the Early Years Foundation Stage, igniting their love of learning from the very start. We are proud of the provision we can offer your child and exciting start into their educational journey they can explore.

Situated in the heart of the village of Langford Budville, our school embraces the wonders of our natural surroundings. Our bespoke outdoor curriculum supports the holistic learning of our pupils, nurturing their love of learning and helping them grow their roots so they can spread their wings and fly. We take full advantage of the rural area, engaging in outdoor learning adventures in the nearby woods and fields. Through our Forest School provision, our trained staff use Thrive to build pupils' social and emotional skills. By embedding social and emotional learning across the school, Thrive equips staff to better understand and respond to pupils' needs.
As a school linked to the church, we enjoy a close and supportive relationship with the local clergy. They visit us regularly to lead acts of worship, and we regularly make use of the church for various aspects of our learning and celebrations.
We hold high expectations for each child, fostering a culture of ambition and resilience. Our dedicated staff are committed to helping every student achieve their best, overcoming any obstacles in their way. We know our students and their families well, ensuring personalised support and encouragement.
We empower our students to become independent learners, taking responsibility for their own learning journey. With a focus on our vision statement, "Roots to grow, wings to fly," we encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a thirst for knowledge.

Our FLBSA (Friends of Langford Budville School Association) is a vibrant parent association that plays an active role in fundraising and supporting our school's initiatives. All parents and carers are welcome to get involved and contribute to enhancing the school experience. We are passionate about the area we live in, and our place within it, through our 'Loving Langford Budville' work we enjoy engaging with our community and taking care of our local area.
We are proud to offer extensive wrap-around care to support working families, ensuring that your child is well cared for before and after school hours.

FAQs
See our frequently asked questions across a range of subjects from everyday school attendance to special trips, extra curricular activities and admissions.
If your child needs to have medication at school you must complete a form at the school office. We ask that medication at school is kept to a minimum and if antibiotics are prescribed for less than four times a day we suggest this can be organised out of school time. All medication held on school premises is kept locked and secure.
What is Dyspraxia? Dyspraxia is a form of development coordination disorder (DCD) affecting fine and/or gross motor coordination in children and adults. It may also affect speech.
