Support for Separated Parents: Free Bite-Size Workshops
Recognising that many families have struggled over the Christmas period, Somerset County Council are pleased to offer free bite-size workshops to help separated parents successfully co-parent.
Free Online Workshops
Online workshops designed to provide practical tools to help them and their children cope better with separation or divorce. There are three workshops, each focusing on different topics. Parents are welcome to attend all three, and there are two sessions for each topic so their ex-partner can also participate.

Updated Online Support for Separated Parents

Practitioner Training: Reducing Conflict Between Separated Parents
Somerset County Council are also offering new dates for practitioner training on "How to Help Separated Parents Reduce Co-Parenting Conflict." This workshop is for any practitioner in Somerset who works with separated parents struggling with ongoing co-parenting conflict.

- Wednesday, 5 February, 2 PM - 3:30 PM
Workshop Objectives:
- Understand the causes of conflict.
- Learn practical tools to help separated parents reduce conflict.
- Discover tools for supporting children through separation/divorce.
- Explore ways to reduce conflict when separated families create new, blended families.
- Know where to signpost separated parents for support.
