Sensory Suites designed to help children improve focus
Our custom designed sensory rooms are available for all our children to use to gain access to appropriate sensory stimulation which allows their bodies to learn how to respond appropriately. We have found that a sensory room helps children improve their visual, auditory and tactile processing, as well as fine and gross motor skills. They also provide a sense of calm and comfort, helping children learn to self-regulate their behaviors, which ultimately improves focus.
We are committed to working with great partners and achieving key accreditations.
Through our commitment to setting the standard for education we partner with People, Purpose and Planet led organisations, including becoming the first Educational Setting to be certified by Includability as a Committed Federation of Schools.
We have joined organisations such as premier league football clubs, household FMCG businesses and charitable organisations in our commitment to the delivering a diverse, inclusive, mentally healthy and sustainable workplace and centres for education.
Our commitment to the environment
Sustainability is it at the heart of not only where we are positioned in Exmoor but also the beliefs of our community. Through our programmes we promote environmental stewardship and sustainability through conservation, recycling and waste reduction education.
