Passion for Porlock - Outdoor and Community Personal Development Curriculum
Welcome to an exciting outdoor education experience at St. Dubricius, where we learn in our community and environment including forest school, beach school, geography, history, art and community projects
Passion for Porlock (P4P) is our exciting outdoor and community learning personal developmnent curriculum making the most of our beautiful and rich local area.
Every Friday afternoon the children will learn outside: science, art, DT, P.E and geography as well as developing personal skills and developing our school values.
We feel it is really important that children have a good sense of place, where they come from and know how to be safe, respect and enjoy all that is around them.
We encourage hands-on learning amidst the rich landscapes, where curiosity is nurtured, and every child gets to explore the magical world of nature. Our forest school sessions form an integral part of our unique approach to education, fostering independence, resilience, and a lifelong love for the environment. Join us on this adventure and see how our students grow, learn, and develop invaluable skills, connecting with nature in the most delightful ways.
Please take a look at our 'Passions Passport' for a flavour of the things we do across the year.
