Cover Supervisor with Forest School Lead responsibility
The Moorland Federation is seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant based primarily at Dunster First School.
Position: Cover Supervisor and Forest School Lead
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:40 am to 3:25 pm (including a 45-minute unpaid break)
Salary: £24,496 to £27,852 FTE (Somerset Pay Spine Grade 12), actual starting salary £16,572
Role Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students' learning during short-term teacher absences. Your main responsibilities will include supervising whole classes and assisting students with pre-planned learning activities. Additionally, you will have the exciting opportunity to lead our Forest School program, fostering a love for nature and outdoor learning among our students. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a vibrant and dynamic school community.
